Flamed eucalyptus is a stunning tonewood and has in recent years praised by musical instrument makers worldwide, favored particularly for the back and sides of concert guitars. Originally from Australia, Tasmania and New Guinea, it's now found in many other warm climate nations like Spain, India, Brazil and some African countries. The wood used for CE44P-FLE-G is harvested sustainably in northwest Spain

The natural color of this wood work wonderfully well with vintage sunburst finish. This very traditional finish, in combination with the gold-plated tuners and rich abalone ornamentation, is so complementary to the rich sounds of these guitars, making them one of our favorite modern guitars full of the Ovation traditions.
